I recently bought a 2007 V8V, I, m finding the hard wearing section of the mat very slippery, which l don, t like. I would like to obtain some new ones but with the Aston logo prominent on the mats. Do you need to get dealer ones or does anyone know where else to obtain them.Cheers Dean

The Aston logo is vehemently defended. You will find it very difficult to get the logo on non sanctioned mats.
I have bought from carmats4u and Autostyle. Both very good quality, I would probably go for Autostyle if I was to buy more.

Shouldn't it be sacrilege to step on the logo the same way it is to throw a country's flag on the ground? Also, check out carID.com and look for Lloyds mats. They are very good quality.

I've bought many mats from Autostyle. Always good quality and hardwearing. I don't think they have AM logo's, but the can add a V8 if you want it.

I bought these from The Vantage Collection about 5 years ago and they're still as good as new.

No more logos on the mats. Looking at other sites, they state that they can not put brand logos due to copyright. Vantage collection have a lot of legal stuff on their site relating to Aston logos etc.
I presume there have been some spankings that put an end to it.

Just pulled my mats up. No carpet underneath, just the floorpan. Is this the norm? Every car l, ve owned has carpet, then the mat on top.

Sounds like you are pulling up the carpet and that you don't have any mats.

No the mats have velco on the sides and are attached just under the seats by a metal clip each side. When l lifted the mat up in the passenger side, theres no carpet underneath, just some gray padding and the metal floorpan?

yes if it is under the metal clip at the front of the seat that is the carpet not a mat, mat goes on top of that
