I've been having a look at the AM clothing as there are a few discounts to be hand (one might call it a Sale). There's quite a nice coat that's also fairly subtle I fancy. I have heard that their stuff can come up a little small, or maybe "slim fit" and shall we just say I've finally honed my body to expand slightly over the years as this gives a better contact with the edge of bucket seats smile

I'm not sure if this is the same with all their clothes or just the Hackett branded ones. Either way, I don't really want to buy a coat that's a little too snug for me.

Any experiences?

I have invested in an Aston Martin Jock Strap.
I find the fit quite comfortable for a big boy.
I especially like that the Aston Martin logo has a choice of cars so I have a DB9V embroidered on mine by Q dept.

Can't really help as I don't go for the branded clothing look, Robgt is your man, he is an AM clothes horse tart of the highest quality and will be able to help I'm sure smile.

Yes, and I have "Aston Martin Vanquish Volante, made in Gaydon, Warwickshire, United Kingdom" on mine smile

Anyone with a serious answer?

I bought the coat which is quite subtle. It is very warm plus the inside is removable so can be worn as a fleece. I would agree on their sizing policy being a bit on the small side. My item of good taste is sized as being large, I would describe it as more like a medium.

I was told you are not to wear branded clothing whilst in your car because you will look a bit of a knob. frankly I don't care!

Piston Head shop offer some quite good AM Tee shirts .

I like the Hackett AM clothes. I'd just never wear one whilst driving the Aston.

I had a look last week on their site but most of the clothes were children/Jockman size only, that's why they were flogging them off.

Was this the jacket?

I think you'd get away with wearing it in the car if the seatbelt covered the logo

It's still cringeworthy getting out of an Aston wearing Aston clothing. Leave that for Ferrari drivers.

I purchased an AM fleece jacket which was slightly larger than anticipated… I'm 5'9" 160 lbs and the size medium was a tad oversized on my body. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase. I use it to walk Reilly.

I think you're been sold the emperor's new clothes - your dog's not wearing a fleece !

My experience with Aston Martin branded clothing is that if it is from Hackett it runs small. For instance I wear a large in a Hackett jacket but a medium in the non-Hackett performance jacket. I'm 6' tall and 180 lbs. Most (but not all) Aston Martin Racing clothing is from Hackett and they are pretty consistent about putting their name on the clothing.

I bought the coat From H.R.Owen in Cheltenham. Its three quarter length and has an Aston Martin racing logo on the left breast area. Unless you have it zipped right up you don't see the logo. There is another small logo on the collar. I feel it looks quite smart and I feel proud wearing it.
