I bought this Toro Red Vantage a couple of years ago and it has been a great introduction to AM. We’ve had a few of those niggles along the way, emission service, gearbox error and perhaps the most interesting was a speed sensor failure which throws up a shed-load of errors as well as, in my case, drastically reporting the incorrect speed. It took me a few minutes to work out why everybody else was driving so slowly.

Two weeks ago, after popping in to Dunn & Co for my pipe, slippers and a lovely beige tank top I collected this DB9 from Stratstone in Derby. Obviously a completely different car but it was just what I was looking for, a GT experience over the Vantage’s racing ‘I want to go!’ feel.

I’m absolutely delighted with the DB9 so far. I didn’t realise how different the cars would feel.
I’m upgrading the sat nav to the 2014 maps as we speak and I’m having the handsfree microphone replaced, had to do this in the Vantage as the default kit isn’t so good.

All the best and thank you to everybody for making this a great forum.

Hi Nick

They actually fit a replacement mic above the sun visor which does seem to improve call quality. It's not perfect but helps. I don't think its too difficult but I let the dealer in Derby sort mine. I'd suspect for a competent auto electrician it is a 30 minute job.
