Not impressed as the car was delivered like it ! 07 plate v8v by the way.

Do the revs on a vantage dip when the aircon is pressed ?

I am getting nothing, which is hinting to me that the clutch is not engaging.

That said, it seems to get cold, but I am not sure if its a placebo effect.

Thanks

I think theres a threshold outer temp where the aircon will even attempt to come on and work...and 7degs outside its not going to come on

you might be better to wait until its like 18deg plus outside and test again ......

I had a leak one year, then my 7 yr old aircon compressor failed last year. £250 from Astonbits and £200 ish to fit and gas up....

Well that's a bit of a design screw up if you ask me, as I like the aircon on with the temp set to hot ( obviously the heat exchange wont work, but the drier will )

It helps clear the screen.

Hmmmm

Will indeed wait for it to warm up then.

Cheers

None of my cars A/C works when the outside temp is low. Something to do with the compressor freezing up? Not that technical so just accepted explanation.

You will probably (hopefully) find that it does work, maybe a trip to your local garage to confirm for peace of mind would be best?

Its not air con, its climate control. Leave it on Auto and adjust the temperature only. Fan will alter speed if required to get to the required temperature quickly.

Clear the screen - mine's got a button for doing that wink

Mine has the front heated screen too.

Understand its climate yes, fair enough, but my bmw m3 at least allows aircon to be on , even when temperature set to hot to act as a drier.

yes its the moisture in the air that freezes up and blocks it(or damages it!), we have something similar with air dryers on clients plants
