Can anyone recommend anyone/company who is good at getting tiny chips out?

I have one or two tiny ones on the front, but want to get rid of them and then maybe go for a plastic covering.

Armourfend or something similar is meant to be good? Any suggestions on that too?

Thanks smile

Can't help with the stone chips, but if you're after the best film on the market, paintshield are the ones to call. Nothing else comes close.

I think I can remember.

Wasn't that the result of a very
brief dalliance, between Daimler and Chrysler?
A Mercedes-Benz SLK, with
a (place your own words here) body. -> smile

What do you know !
Wife's had the car 5 years, no problems that a new battery didn't solve.
It's a convertible so looks alright, quite nippy, the coupe is an acquired taste ,I agree. smile

As you know, I try to follow your example with the humour.
Not intending to be rude about your wife's very fine automobile.

I suppose the collaboration was similar to that Vauxhall one. They presumably thought their customers might like a Lotus, but not with the multiple F1 World Champion's name on it. Alter the body shape, stick a Vauxhall badge on, and jobs a good'n.

Jon ,I always appreciate your attempts at humour, I did not think for a moment nay a millisecond that you were being rude.
As far as I'm concerned it's a car, 4 wheels,an engine and metal that is a little bit different from the other cars one sees on the road.
It offered good value for the money and most importantly has been no trouble.
In the real world I will sacrifice collaboration over purity if it provides a car that works when you turn the ignition key.
There is little more frustrating than a car that doesn't work.

Just had a quick look on Chipex but they don't seem to offer the carbon black paint option frown

They don't have Ceramic Grey either but they will make the paint to order with the correct manufacturers code. Many people here have successfully used Chipex. I think even Jockman managed it, so it can't be that hard biggrin

I just phoned the chap at Chipex, very helpful and yes, they can make any paint with a code.

So, i'll do this - get some chipex, then get paintshield!

Thanks a lot guys.

+1

I used it, it works a treat. Yes you can slightly see the chips close up but bit further away you can't notice. If you have dark paint then obviously white chips are more noticeable. Use a cocktail stick to apply/dab it into the chips smile
