Can I get these "niggles" done under warranty ?
Discussion
Some of this may seem anal, and I know it is. If it helps I am clinically diagnosed with OCD ( serious )
Bottom right hand side of the windscreen is de laminating and letting moisture between the laminations, in the cold I get condensation there which I cannot shift. This will obviously get worse until it sends the screen opaque.
The headlights are misting up, I have done the research and there is a technical bulletin for drying these out and fitting gel packs.
The passenger side door handle LEDs are dim, you cannot see them from a couple of feet away from the car. The drivers are much more vivid and in keeping with the rest of the car.
So, on an 07 plate car will I get these jobs done if I ask nicely/play up ?
I imagine when it was new they would bend over backwards, but fear I may be testing my luck.
Thanks

Its stratstone yes
The screen was my main gripe, I can sort the LEDs and lights my self if need be, along with the gearbox oil change mentioned in another thread. Although I am hoping to get that done for the smoother shift too.
Am I likely to get a courtesy car whilst its in, or is that a no no for older cars with younger drivers ?
Thanks again.

Push hard and you'll get it all done. I'm sure the windscreen is a 'safety issue'.
TBH, even the silica gel fix won't cure the headlights long-term, it's just how it is with faired-in lights.
Courtesy car is a matter of negotiation, I doubt it'd be an Aston anyway!
How long ago did you buy your Aston from the dealer and do you have an extended warranty on it? What sort of relationship do you have with the dealer? If over a year, you have no warranty and little by way of relationship then I think you will struggle to get your problems sorted - the car is 6 years old. Would your windscreen not be covered by the windscreen cover on your car insurance?
Sorry, more questions than answers.
Later - Oopps- just seen your other post. If you have only had it 10 days I think ou should let them know the rings you are unhappy with and ask them to fix.

I have the same problem with the headlights but chatting to quite a few peeps on this site, the fix is a bit of a waste of time... An Aston thing I suspect. I WILL NOT LET THIS BOTHER ME.... I will not let this bother me... my new mantra
So far, I have found Stratstone pretty good and the only real way to answer your questions is to approach the dealer. You may benefit from the bounce back effect - so don't wait too long until you contact them. I have followed my purchase up with a couple of quick calls and an email 'reminding' us both on what was agreed. No sign of any pushback and they are playing it with a 'straight bat' which is great to see. Cardiff btw - if you're reading this J!

I don't think it's an "Aston thing" - I've seen it on plenty of cars, had this on 2 of my previous FTO's, as well as a Golf and Clio too - I suspect it's just impossible to fully seal them, as the bulbs have to be changable from the outside of the unit. A feature I guess
As an update. The car was collected and taken back to Stratstone ( 125 miles in each direction no less )
Car has had a new bell crank, fresh gearbox oil and cable reset to cure the stiff gearbox.
A new passenger door handle was fitted to cure the LED problem.
A new Bluetooth switch-over circuit has been fitted to cure a distorted audio issue.
Headlights were dried out and Gel packs fitted.
A chip in the windscreen was repaired, as it was not there when I viewed originally, but was there on delivery.
A fuse has been replaced for the power outlook in centre console.
Air-con was checked and explained to me ( apparently the ecu requests air-con, so that it can prepare for the sap on power, and adjusts the map accordingly, it also turns off on wide open throttle so that air-con does not take the power of the engine at all ) but has been gassed regardless.
Done alright I reckon
