When I was in Grange yesterday talking about my Jag, Phil the friendly service manager said 'You do know not to take the Aston into water don't you? The air intake is about the top of the number plate, and we have two in the workshop needing new engines for £21k/£28k.'

Have any of you been unfortunate enough to suffer from the horrific floods, with damage either to home and car?

Nope, but I think some on here are close. At least if a car is flooded it's taken a way to be sorted and can be forgotten about until it returns but homes take months and months to dry out and the smell is truly awful for weeks. What a miserable time many people are having.

Had to look these up after some chap was taking about a waterproof bag on the news last night, never heard of them before. I can see them becoming popular over here.
