Proper intro to my Vantage
Discussion
Thanks to all of you on this forum i took your advice and joined this magical world. Loving every minute of my 2006 4.3 Vantage. Well looked after Aston and great service from Harwoods. I then drove her down to her new home in Marbella. On the ferry to Santander and and amazing drive down those amazing roads to the south of Spain through Salamanca. I actually prefer the RHD on spanish roads. No issues so far and i still keep up to date with you guys on this great forum. Thanks again to you all.

I've taken a GT3 Porsche and two Aston Martins to Roscoff from Plymouth for the trip to Le Mans for the 24 hour race , and also to Santander for trips through Spain .
All had difficulty in negotiating the ramp leading on to the ferry decks . The GT3 actually scraped the chin part of the front apron.
If you mention to the ferry loading personnel that your car has a very low ground clearance , they will tell you to hang on to the end of the loading cycle and then allow you to drive into the lorry deck which is absolutely a straight on manoeouvre.
The other big benefit is that there is much more space between vehicles ( lorries ) which eliminates the chance of damage to doors from other people.

Thanks Guys for the compliments. Very true about Ferry. I told the loading staff before boarding and i was guided on with caravans and some ferraries. So the clearance was fine has it was straight on. And your right, lots of space between cars. Remember to disactivate alarm. Athough i heard a few go off at night....thought someone had forgotten to put handrake on...terrable nightmares
