Has anyone else on here had problems with their stereo system?

My 07 V8V has standard audio system and recently, when I turn the car on the stereo will only transmit bass through the speakers or only the subwoofer etc... Then a few minutes later all working fine?? So I assume that the amp is working but just late in powering the high and mid range speakers... Driving me nuts....

Certainly sounds like an amplifier internal fault. If it was the head unit you would not get any frequencies, and speakers do not self repair like that.

Probably the crossover networks in the amp.

Don't really want to take it to a main dealer for this..... Does anyone know of a specialist in the Berkshire area? I know theres one in Reading and will call them to see if they know anything...

If I'm listening to music, and my bluetooth connected phone rings, then I stop the car and turn off engine while still talking on phone ... when I end the call and the music comes back on, only be subwoofers come back on. I resolve by simply turning stereo on and off. So maybe it's something to do with the bluetooth phone connection?

I have the same issue. Stratstone servicing informed me it is due to a faulty bluetooth unit.
