Just spotted what I think is the first sub £100k DB9.2...
https://used.astonmartin.com/en-GB/Search/Results/...
...which got me thinking a little more seriously about our next Aston.
Make no mistake, our V12V is everything I hoped it would be and I love it dearly, but I know the DB9.2 will always be calling as my test drive of a Virage before Christmas proved to me.
I know that Far Eastender has just gone V12V to a Virage, but has anyone else made the jump to a DB9.2? What do you like more/less compared to the V12V?

Having moved from a manual DB9.1 to a V12V, I cannot help but think that a DB9.2 would be a little too polite after the V12V.

I just went from a V12V to a Virage. VERY different cars, it really depends on what you are looking for in a drive...

The DB9.2 has the latest gen engine and as standard produces an extra 20 bhp and 37 lb Ft more torque than the Virage. It can also be tuned to produce close to 580 bhp and 625 NM torque if you want to go down that route (I used Bamford Rose but there are of course alternative companies). smile

Actually Bob, there aren't. The usual whiners can come on, they can even swear that's it's mentioned on "Every. fking. Thread.", but that's a fact. No-one else offers anything for the V12 smile

Depends what you want from a car; basically a modern day muscle car with a short wheelbase and agile handling (for the weight) or a world class GT car, long wheelbase and very stable at speed. What sort of driving do you do? The TT2 auto box rules out a DB9.2 for me or anything after sadly.
