can no longer adjust time on clock

I can no longer set the time on the clock in my 2009 Vantage. Previously I would go to the menu adjust the time exit and the clock would adjust to the "new" time. I have been stuck on daylight savings time during the winter and although soon enough we will be returning and the clock will have the correct hour but still has drifted a few min off during the last 4 months. I though I could disconnect the battery and hope that does not cause more issues. Has anyone experienced this, obviously I don't know if it is the clock it self or the "entertainment center" at fault.

I would be very careful disconnecting the battery which would appear to be a logical move if something as simple as changing the clock time is proving a problem. You could find loads of other things will refuse to operate and that would be a PITA. Personally, for the small cost it may incur, I would go to your nearest franchise garage of wherever you get the car serviced and ask for their advice - just in case!

I had to disconnect the battery to sort out the clock on my 2012 V8V. I couldn't change the clock, it takes the info from the sat nav, but was several minutes adrift.

No issues except the window reset routine was needed. All other setting, radio stations etc were fine.
