Hotel recommendation in York
Discussion
Most places are pretty safe in York.
If it's the Best Western Monkbar, I think the car park is out the front.
Best out of town place (3 mile) is prob Middlethorpe Hall but quite pricey.
In town there are usually a few flash cars parked outside the Cedar Court Hotel. I don't think i's the best area of town but I'm pretty sure they have a doorman on 24/7.

Just across the river from the Minster and adjacent to the train station. Parking is within the grounds.

I'd agree with this for good / safe parking - most places in York are ok to be honest but avoid anywhere around the Mickelgate run of pubs as this gets rowdy on weekends so I wouldn't park my car around those areas.http://www.hotelroyalyork.co.uk/offers/20-off-when...

There's a Holiday Inn in the centre of York that has an underground car park as well.
