Yes, I know it's black, but what kind of black? It appears to be metallic but I can't find any paint code or name anywhere?
And what is this red leather called? It's not burgundy, but it's also not bright red like my girlfriends Audi TT.

The leather is probably Chancellor Red.

The exterior might be Onyx, but seriously laugh

What colour is the metallic flek in the paint? Eg red, gold, blue. That will tell you what colour black it is.

Watch out avinalarf, you have a funny rival.

Windymiller. I cannot answer your question, but I do like the way your interior colour is continuous.
So often in photographs, I see non-black interiors, which still retain a black instrument binnacle and a few other black leather areas.

You can find the paint code under the bonnet, it is on the cross member underneath the large plate just in front of the oil filler cap you will have to unscrew this to see the code.

I was chatting to someone about that the other day - he was looking for a black dash top, but red seats and dash centre I think. I too prefer it all one colour, though I'm glad the carpet isn't red too!

Regarding the metallic bits, er, they just look silver colour. Tried snapping it but it looks surprisingly blue! Excuse the rotten paint - that's because I drive it.

Forgot to say, car is a 2007. Should there be a paint code sticker somewhere? Nothing in the book where it should be.

The plate? As in the massive thing with the 'built by' plate on?

For some reason I thought this was going to be some kind of introspective deep self analysis thread… biggrin

Like I said earlier, on a 4.3 Onyx black was the only standard colour black

Indeed - we both have given the answer but it doesn't seem to matter. Everyone must have me on ignore frown

I thought they were all called "suicide black", or is that the interior colour when matched with "another grey".

Windymiller - are you selling it privately or has curiosity just got the better of you?

Curiosity, however yes I think I will be selling privately, of working on a commission deal with a specialist. Not sure which yet.
