Ian thanks. The story is a long one involving lots of research, patience, kind and helpful advice from the good people on this forum, Mike and Adrian at Bamford Rose with their formidable expertise and especially my best mate Julia, whose support has been amazing.

My copy arrived in the post this morning. I'm undecided if I will renew my subscription. Personally after 4 issues, I just haven't found it terribly interesting.

IanV12VR, Robgt, Jockman thank you. bow Whilst we were at Gaydon, Henry Cozon ('Q' dept manager)came out to view Vesuvius for the first time. Although he has seen pictures before, he wanted to see the car and also the result of his handy work on the c/f center console, of course he was pleased.

In the interest of fair play, anyone that might be aware of 'Q's hitherto 'no can do' reputation, I feel I should mention here that in conversation with Henry, I think now, 2 years on since the introduction of 'Q', the department I am inclined to believe has realised that it was indeed falling well short of its own hyperbole and have now addressed those issues and are far more responsive to customers 'personalisation' requests. Henry was most apologetic to me about the several requests I made and that he was unable to agree to during 2013, suggesting that other department interests were taking precedent BUT that had now been dealt with.

I'm pretty much done now with tweaking Vesuvius, so I'll not be the one to test out our 'enrys' reassurance,,,please anyone that does, let us know how you get on. smile

Looking forward to seeing Vesuvius in real life. As you know Silverspeed has a Volcano Red V12VR which I have seen a few times now and the pictures, however great they look, seldom do the colour justice. See you both at Burley House smile
