Well after almost a year since the first test drive, I picked this baby up last Saturday:
<a href="http://s1060.photobucket.com/user/phil74891/media/aston3_zpsdf3d0b78.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t444/phil74891/aston3_zpsdf3d0b78.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo aston3_zpsdf3d0b78.jpg"/></a>

2014 Model Year V8 Vantage S. Exterior - Tungsten Silver. Interior - black everything. Glass Switches, full Piano Black, 700w audio, Graphite V Spoke wheels, black meshes, Bright grille and strakes, electric seats, leather wheel, er that's about it. Aiming to keep forever hence the boring but I think timeless, classy spec. No lipstick for me.

So there we have it, a classic English sportscar in the classic English rain. Couldn't be happier. I'm out of the country again now until early April, so will post some more pics then. Number plate plinth will be in the bin, she'll be polished and detailed, and fuse 15 will be in that little tray where they used to put ashtrays. Plus it never rains in England in April, does it?

Fear not, I'll see to some pics of it looking all nice and shiny. Hopefully it will be nice and sunny in April.

Tasty, very tasty, like the way you're thinking, a keeper, so kept away from 'extreme' design options. yes

Err, Phil, by the way, Robgt, often double posts the same text, we have told him about it but so far apparently he's been unable to restrain himself. hehe You'll soon get used to him, he and his wife Molly are indispensable vertebrae in the back bone of this forum.

PS: More pics please. smile

Here's another pic. Unfortuantely that's not my driveway and gatehouse. It's Wooton House in Surrey, near Dorking. Lovely old hotel with great gardens and very secure parking! Rooms are a bit dated but are acceptable. Will provide some more detailed pics of the interior and exterior in April.

Looking at that gorgeous CF Splitter, I can see why you went for the S over the N430. A shame the "N" only comes with the plastic splitter / diffuser (but good for "S" owners!).
