As the Rockingham do draws ever closer my V8S (Pearl) has been to Bamford Rose for a little TLC. While she was there Mike gave the car her first service. I am so pleased. I believe that a little more toe in has been applied and the hard setting of the Active Suspension has been tweaked a tad. The result is so good. On my return trip I have to travel down an infamous hill. The first bend is clearly marked 25mph, Pearl shrugged it off at 60plus ! No drama at all.

It was interesting to note just how many Astons are currently in BR's workshop quite a few of which were in for performance upgrades plus I spied a gorgeous Vanquish which was booked in for major overhaul. I was pleased to see that time has allowed BR to radically alter and improve their premises the result being that the professional work that they achieve is now matched by the overall appearance of the place.

Pearl is now languishing in her garage ready to go to Shelsey Walsh this Sunday to attend the Breakfast Club. Anyone else Going? In the meantime I cannot recommend BR's attentive service enough. smile

Evening Robbo

Glad to hear that Pearl is in fine fettle. I had the email from Shelsley Walsh earlier and wondered if anyone was going. Looks like being a nice weekend so I think I will venture over for bit of brekkie and a mooch about, what time are you getting there?

How many vehicles did you overtake inappropriately on the bend, Rob? hehe

Your opinion needs verifying by Molly yes

I'll have you know we took it very easy today young Jeff. We even witnessed someone order a Coke. To be fair, he was later stoned to death in the car park....

Just registered. If I can do it, it'll need to be an early launch, need to get back for lunch and a certain ever so slightly important rugby match.

They are open for breakfast 9 - 12. We will probably be there soon after 9. Suggest you register on their website as they like to know who's going & will probably try to put the Astons together thumbup

Done Mum, hopefully see you there. And in the interest of remaining on topic, glad the boys looked after Pearl...not entirely surprising though eh? smile
Jeff, had the day off to pick up Svetlana's new car. Don't ask.
