I'm test driving this car next week:-

Does anyone know any history on it. The registration is similar to a lot of the press/test cars.

Any info would be appreciated, thanks smile

That looks very nice Tim. Great colour combo although I did think you would have gone for a grey one wink . Hope the test drive is before we meet up on Tuesday then you can tell us more! Manual as well.

Agree that the reg plate would indicate an AML car but the mileage is low so wouldn't expect it to be a press car. Perhaps a Directors car?

Have fun - does Lady BS know?

If it just says AML though, how will you know if it has been used by a presumably careful finance director, or lent to journos for wheel spinning photos?

Perhaps you will find a private owner in the V5. Possibly more reassuring.

I bought from a main dealer, and was given the complete maintenance history printout. It did help.

this car was on sale on Grange Exeter.

it was a factory car for about 6 months.

the second service was 23 months or so after the first service, with the mileage between the two about 4k miles.

Excellent, thank you Sean.

I'll have a word with Lloyd at Grange before I go for a test drive.

Looks like lightning silver ? Great colour had it on my last roadster. Does this mean you will be two Astons Tim?

I think it may be Mako - don't think Tim would dare to get a silver. All the stick he would get yes

As they say - "negotiations are ongoing" hehe

The garage describes the colour as "metallic blue" - more details after Thursday.

These are the photographs of the car, when for sale by Grange, Exeter.

SFO started a topic about this car on 26th February. If that was when it was for sale by Grange, and now two weeks later, it is for sale by a used car garage near Taunton, might that perhaps indicate an owner is trying for a commission sale?
