Have a look at the sticky up top, I'd say grants book is a must before you delve into vantage ownership, get to know the specs, differences, options and then start your search

Nice But if you can I would spend a few more ££ and get the 2007 model spec with nicer seats and some revisions.

But 100% get the Bible of Aston Buying Grants book it was just what I needed when looking for mine.

Completely agree. I viewed a handful of lovely pre 07 models and then when I saw an 07 interior it was set in stone then, that was the spec to go for. I like the illuminated deck player much more too, the link in the OP shows the interior pics with almost orange/yellow text, compared to the white text on the 07 spec'd cars.

White text must have come in on MY2006.5 as I have it on mine.
Looks like its got no Bluetooth - just the SIM slot. Doesn't mention Premium Audio either, so prbably only the Standard audio.

Thanks for the info, didn't know that. I thought there was just a cut off period from 06's to 07's.

Just noticed the dealer, a chap at work bought his John Cooper Works mini from them 6 months or so a go and spoke very highly of their service.

Mick, it is worth reading Grant's book. I bought a very similar car to the one you have seedn on eBay, but knowing detail all the variations in the first couple of fews of production was invaluable. It is also a generally fascintating read.

I started with 3,000 per year and had to adjust for 5,000. So the following year I insured for 8,000. Now I just to 10,000 per year. You will love it and want to drive it constantly.

It'll take it in it;s stride quite happily. Servuice is 10,000 miles or 12 months which ever comes first, don't be tempted to run it just on miles and get 18-20 months in. These cars do benefit from a proper check every year.
