Hi guys

My MOTY is due for the Vantage and I wondered if everyone only gets their PNJ MOT'ed at an Aston Service Centre or do you use anywhere else?

I'm in the Guildford area and am paranaoid that an MOT test centrwe will scratch damage etc

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I have mine done locally - no problem - the guys are usually in awe of it and treat it accordingly :-)

I use the local garage, they look after my wife's car. The look after it well. The only incident was the first time I took it and they didn't have a clue how to get it going. Gave them some training and all was good.

FFS Nick, you should update your databases.

That was The Green Man? Excellent weekend and I'm in the background with me old mates Retman and Barnstable.

Your last weekend IIRC sans fumer??? smile

Does Trinity do MOT's? They are in Cobham.

I use a really great little garage in Roehampton called Hungerford Motors.

Looks like Phil Mitchell would run it but they're absolute gents with all my cars and have been for years smile

They are also very 'helpful' with unusual cars.

Some of the main dealers take customer's cars from their own premises to a different firm for Mots.

^^ This!

I doubt any main dealer or Aston Specialist/independent is MOT registered. Absolutely no point in them doing it.

What you do get is them checking your car for obvious fails, driving it there, waiting to see what's what and guard-dogging it before driving it back. Sometimes it's worth doing, you never fail on anything silly and it's looked after the whole time.
