Now the weather is getting better I wondered if anyone in the Hertfordshire area fancied a lunch and meeting each other. I had discussed this with Greg (Little Donkey) a while ago and suggested maybe a Saturday or Sunday lunchtime at the Crooked Chimney out near Brocket Hall. There is a big car park and the food is pretty good.

I'm not planning a drive before or afterwards but happy to have a blast down some country roads if aanyone knows a good route without any craters on it smile

Let me know if anyone is interested and, once we've agreed a date, I'll organise some parking and tables with the Crooked Chimney. Of course, anyone is welcome to join in, you'll just have further to travel but always good to see AM owners.

I'm not in Herts, but would love to see the sparkly beast in the metal! Count me in, if luddites from Surrey are allowed, of course smile

I'll be moving to Lincolnshire in a couple of months, so I'm up for it, assuming it's a date when I'm not busy...

Its oop North it is. I looked on a map. North of the M25. Which means we will need passports.

Great idea. Count me in. Had my 'northern' innoculations 15 years ago after emigrating from Hampshire. Just need to remember not to pronounce the 't' in Luton smile

Only 20 minutes away, would love to meet some of you guys, so it would seem rude not to. But weekend lunchtimes can be pretty booked up, so will have to see depending on date.

I'll not put my name down just yet Seemon until we have a date confirmed, as I don't want to be abused for not coming. Oh, yes, you're right of course....I will be regardless.

Good to see the list growing. Would be good to see you Bins. Hopefully we can find a weekend date to suit everyone as I know that at least one of the group actually does work between weekends so weekdays would be difficult!

Tentatively, how would Saturday 12th or 19th April or Sunday 13th or 20th April work for people. Say lunch around 1pm?
