I've a problem with the sat nav cover, its not the typical problem where its detached from the sat nav unit itself and you plug it back into the 2 metal pins. Mine seems to have detached itself partly from the ski slope so doesn't sit square and it gets caught when you raise or lower the unit. Its as though it prefers to sit at a jaunty angle ( top left corner down, top right corner up ). Can push it back level, but it doesnt stay like that......

So how does the sat nav cover hold together with the ski slope? I've not got the car here with me so I can't take a piccy to be more descriptive I'm afraid.

It's held on (and hinges) on two studs. These are held in place by a star lock washer (5 or 6mm in size). If these come loose it results in the symptoms you describe. Very easily fixed.

Sheffield, I presume?

I guess you are still hiding your 'real' chariot from the proletariat and therefore I didn't spot you.

I trust I was driving impeccably as ever wink
