New to the AM club

Hello everyone!

After owning several Porsches and Ferraris I thought I'd try out an Aston. I was looking for something classy and subtle and I thought this would fit the bill! Picked it up Thursday ... Only 11k miles and absolutely flawless condition. It's a Sportshift .. Which I thought I'd hate, but am currently thoroughly enjoying!

Huge amount of compliments (rather than abuse) about the car which is nice. Drives really nicely too. Just in time for the summer!

I've now had the car about six weeks. I have owned several Ferraris and Porsches, but I have to say the Aston has really impressed me. The sportshift is surprisingly good and I'm really enjoying it. It is particularly good at high speeds as you don't have to take your hands of the wheel. Considering I'm a die hard manual person, it has converted me. The car feels very fast and responsive ... Certainly as much speed as I'd want. The ride is fab. It sounds great. It looks sensational inside and out. Basically I love it to bits. Anyone contemplating a move to a v8 vantage ... I'd thoroughly recommend one! The biggest problem is that I'm not sure where you go next from one ...
