Hi Guys, I've provisionally arranged (subject to interest) a visit to the Aston Service outfit in Beamish, Co Durham for interested parties.

http://www.aston.co.uk/
http://www.blackhorsebeamish.co.uk/

Aston Service is a fully authorised Aston Service agent meaning they have the same status as a main dealer - just they don't sell new cars.
They also specialise in restoration of old cars and have a magnificent showroom with old classics, last time I was there there was lots of old Astons, Rolls, Bentley and others too.

We will have a tour of the facilities including restoration area, engine area and paintshop and photos can be taken.
The tour is free but the only stipulation is that we take lunch in the Black Horse a short walk away - I can assure you this will not be a heartache and I was going to suggest it anyway!

I have booked an 11am start, Friday 16th May - sorry they don't open on weekends frown no limit on numbers, the tour takes around 1.5 hours to 2 hours depending on questions etc. I suggest for those travelling any distance you arrange meeting points or whatever as I live close to it and can just see everybody there. In other words I am arranging the visit rather than the journey smile

Anybody interested append your name below please and i can assess numbers and take it from there.

Cheers, Steve

What a shame Steve I quite fancied going to this but unfortunately I will be away on the 16th. Sounds like it should be very interesting

Bump just to say I'll cancel this due to lack of interest.
