Going to look for a V12 Vantage after finally cancelling my GT3 today, I will be buying from a main dealer is there anything I should be aware of?
I will be looking for a car less than 12 months old if that makes any difference.
Does anybody know what the B&O stereo upgrade was in value as an option?

Good luck with the hunt, just got one myself recently, albeit a few years older, absolutely loving it so far.
The B&O was about £4-5k as an option when new I think but shouldn't make too much difference on a used car. Virtually every V12V I've seen has the premium audio fitted and is a very able substitute, the B&O sub also takes up a bit of extra space in the boot if that is going to be a problem.
The Orange car at Works has been for sale since about December and dropped in price a couple of times, the colour is a bit Marmite, but if you like it, then there wont be many others like it, vast majority are black, grey or silver.

Hi Andy , good luck in sourcing a V12 Vantage it is a Hell of a potent car. Regarding the B & O system personally I would not be that concerned . I think it added about £2500 to the original price, what it does add is about 40Kgms in weight!
You should enjoy a good buying experience from Aston Martin dealerships. I will be interested to hear your thoughts on the V12 Vantage , cancelling a 991 GT3 must have been fairly dramatic for you.

I don't think you'll get a V12V less than 12 months old now.I will be looking for a car less than 12 months old if that makes any difference.

But there are a few V12VS's coming up used now.
They might suit better if you are looking to replace a cancelled GT3

I think May 2013 cars were amongst the last V12V cars. Certainly are some V12VS appearing but they are around 40-50% more than the £100K GT3.
Sorry, I meant I will be looking for a 2013 car, and as somebody has already spotted I am test driving the Orange car at Works on Saturday, very excited!
The GT3 was a car I waited 16 months for, I wanted it so badly but with all the problems and general apathy from Porsche AG it got me thinking about what I use a 'special' car for and when I was honest with myself I realised that I wasn't ever going to track a £130K car and I wasn't about to put in qualifying laps around Leicestershire, I have a clean license and I would like to keep it that way!
I like a car to sound nice, I like some luxury, I like it to look special and I like it to have more than enough performance to use on the road, but I don't want all that performance between 7,000 and 9,000 rpm!!
So I bought a Renault Clio 200 Cup which is currently being converted into a Road Series race car which I will track and hopefully enter the Road Series Cup next year (if I'm good enough!) and that left me needing something for high days and holidays and the V12V just seems to tick every box.
They are also going to swap the wheels for me for the lightweight alloys from the 'S' the salesman Simon seemed very helpful and pleasant to deal with and as said the car is probably a bit marmite, but I ordered my 991 GT3 in yellow so that's probably all you need to know lol!
So now it's out there any comments on the car in question, good value, anything for me to be worried about, I assume it's not been used by Chris Harris for one of his videos??
Anyway my trip down to the Le Mans classic in July is now going to be done in style!!

Good luck with the hunt Andy. I have just bought an SP10 (not quite a V12V) from works and Simon is a great guy to deal with.Be warned though they have a brand new grey V12VS in the showroom at works and it looks just absolutely awesome! I'm sure you will be happy if you buy the Madagascar orange one though...Simon will look after you and do you a deal.
Main choice apart from colour is sports v lightweight seats, lightweights were a several £k option and contrary to the name sports are less sporting than lightweights. Some prefer sports and others lightweights. Lightweights have a carbon shell and whilst adjustable have a fixed back and no airbags, they can be tight across the shoulders and some say baulk the gear change; I have lightweights and love the look and feel of them and find them very comfortable. Oh and some have alcantara centres and others leather.

Thanks very interesting, I think the seats are lightweights which sounds the better option, I have to have alacantra as well leather seats do my head in!!!Thanks for that info though.

Oh s
t!!!This is what I started looking at but then decided that I couldn't justify the extra £50K for an 'S' but now I'm worried!!

I was offered this at £130k last week
