V8V Window up can't close door

Has anyone else ever had this problem? the car was locked then i unlocked opened the door to get something out, closed the door and it wouldn't close.

Had to get back in the car open and close windows again then get out and lock again. ???

1 Check your battery is fully charged and not starting to fail.
2 Reset the door modules with a battery disconnect or remove the fuses, window reset required afterwards.
3 Door module may need replaced.

Just had the same fault on my DB9 - it was the window regulator and needed replacing.
