I've just managed to do a complete numpty coming together of the driver's doors of my two cars as they were side by side but facing in opposite directions. I was doing a bit of a driveway/garage shuffle with the V8V and the Range Rover and without knowing why, I opened the Aston door onto the partially open door of the Range Rover. The lip of the trailing edge to the lip of the trailing edge with a sickening clunk.
After swearing and then wiping flecks of paint away from both doors, the Aston is utterly unmarked, yet the Range Rover is missing a small chunk of its silver coloured coating.

That would be a win for the Aston's paint quality. It took on an off-roader and whooped its butt! biggrin

Actually, I just had a minor ding on the door repaired. The guy glued (yes - glued) his tool to the paintwork and teased out the dent! Testament to the quality of the paint. Mine's Merlot Red, which I think is a BMW paint, so that might have something to do with it.
