Hi folks,

Just a quick one, my v12 didn't come with the dead-car key, for want of a different term. Has anyone had a new key cut for their car or know the cost? (this is before I call AM and have a heart attack)

I guess the other option is to go to AM Parts, get a key and barrel from a dead car and replace the mechanism in the door.....

The car is all good at the moment but it does make me a little nervous thinking that a dead battery will really screw me up!

Thanks

Dave

I never, ever used it in 3.5 years of ownership. Most people never ever use it.

Approach the Dealer with your concern and at least get it logged that you never got one. smile

Interesting to hear that..... I didn't use my old one at all and generally a battery will still release doors even if its not got enough juice to start the car. I'll put the call in for a laugh and see what the damage could be :P
