Couldn't agree more. The red is verrry nice. I was lucky enough to have one for a week, and it was fantastic. Sound was unbelievable. Could just sit in it all day playing with the loud pedal.
Unfortunately I had to give it back...although I did have a conversation with the dealer...maybe maybe if I can do the man maths...but for now it's nice to drool over the videos.

Good review. I like how he is comfortable with the Aston's imperfections/flaws. And the 'rule of thirds' is a cool thing to know.

Prices are getting affordable. I'm so tempted to drive to stratstone and chop in my 430 for one.
Trouble is it would require car finance and the other half has banned me from taking it out.
I wonder if I could apply man maths to a divorce as this would obviate all of the bans that she has placed.

Surely the man maths calculator ignores all current bans in place by the other half biggrin

If that video doesn't make you want one, I don't know what will. It shows how rounded that car is - it will make you feel good at whatever speed you're doing and that's not something I've personally felt about the V8 or the Mark 1 DB9.

I was parked next to a blue '14' reg Vanquish at Baldock services on Sunday. Unfortunately, I missed the owner whilst I was taking a comfort break, otherwise I would have told him about Burghley.

Lovely car...

It does but it doesn't warrant against castration sadly.

You may of course be able to sell the forcibly removed body parts to add to the Vanquish fund biggrin

Great review,if that doesn't sell it to you nothing will and now at £150K for a pre owned represents "good value".
One would have a difficult decision when they are asking £120K for a DBS.
Which would you choose ?

The DBS is awesome. Is captures the otherwise cheesy Aston mantra of power, beauty and s

"This is not a car for people who like to compare numbers on forums" Bingo, the man has hit the nail on the head. It's pure class and I share your ache, but I'll wager that pain will never, ever go away for me. cry

Behave Paul !
Moi, always serious.
Scary to think it cost circa £200 K and owner got circa £120K.
I do not think the colour does much for the car.

perhaps I can help smile I have just purchased an expensive Patek watch and, as compensation, suggested to my wife that she might like to go out and buy herself a loverly pair of Christian Louboutin shoes.....it seemed to do the trick !
