Does anyone else think there's more than a vague resemblance going on here?

Yeah. Looks a bit like an Aston with a smashed in face

Not really, no.

The GT will have similar proportions to the SLS, so a very long bonnet, rounded off short tail and a blunt nose.

I honestly can't see any similarities between what you've posted and any modern Aston.

Baffling.

Snap.

Unless you think M6/Jag/every front engined GT all look the same. Which due to aerodynamics and pedestrian safety regs, they all share a similar silhouette.

Funny that, I saw an Aston out of the corner of my eye t'other day.....and it turned out to be a Merc !!! yes

I can certainly see a resemblance but, as the person who knows the least about cars on this forum, I'm afraid I may be undermining your point, LD rolleyes

God that's ugly compared to the SLS. I'm a massive AMG fan, had big hopes for the GT. I'm disappointed already.

What about the wing mirrors, Slarti ??

If I cropped a bit of corrosion around the door handles would that help? hehe

Dug out one of the few remaining pics of my silver DB9.

Not sure anyone can realistically argue that they don't look similar now. They are veritable twins yes

I was able to get the car in, Steven, but I was never able to open the doors.

I have a neighbour 3 doors down who is loaded and had a purpose built garage erected - including ramp - for his P&J whistle

This BEFORE the extension !!

He has this issue a lot due to being unable to reach the handle.

I feel like I've entered a parallel universe, me old mate hehe

I copied Pedro's comment from the last D&D that Neil attended - something about recognising Neil because he would be the one sitting there with his hood up smile

Just because you copied it doesn't mean Americanisms are acceptable!

It is strongly MB, nothing else would ever come to mind.

Do you want to tell Pedro that confused He can be an angry Yorkshireman yes

Anyway, I'm sure the word 'Americanism' is in itself an Americanism. Furthermore, to verbalize a noun is just vulgar.

Innit smile
