As is statutory, upon purchase of my DB9 I removed fuse 22. Now, after fitting one of the handy-dandy remote switches I think that the valve is stuck open as there's no difference in exhaust note if I use the switch, or just replace the fuse. How easy is it to free these off?

Give the actuators a good spray of WD40 then manipulate them by hand, they should free up easily enough.
They can seize up if left inoperative for long periods of time.

Took a look at the actuators last night and am a bit worried that a previous owner has "tampered" with the pipes going to them.
It looks to me that rather than taking the simple approach of pulling the fuse (as most of us do as soon as we get the car home) they've taken more drastic action and cut them, sealing them off with screws in the ends.
I will post pictures of this when I can get back under her, but does anyone know how difficult it is to replace thse pipes?

Very easy fix to just remove any bungs from the pipes and just put the pipes back onto the actuators.

This is the only option on a Vanquish exhaust as it's a different fuse and the fuse is used for something else as well.

The previous owner did this to my Vantage, the dealer put it right quick and free.

I had gone to the effort of putting together the remote unit to enable "stealth" mode when leaving early/coming home late and so will be getting this out right next time it goes in for a service.
