I am thinking of a summer run through Europe, and it would be nice if I could transport the car down to Monte Carlo and then drive back through the Alps....

These people are the cheapest I could find.

Has anyone used them before .......

I can't seem to find anywhere, about their liability insurance....

Thanks.....

They've been "used" about three or four times on PH already.

Hi Maverick

I can highly recommend On-Time Vehicle Solutions. I just had them transport my DB4 down to The Alps for some summer driving. This is the second year that I do this and it works really well and is fairly priced. The car is taken on an eight car covered car transporter to the destination and in both cases they have been true to their name - on-time.

What do you consider vastly expensive. I actually think is is quite good value (bearing in mind that I don't intend to drive my DB4 to Austria as an alternative). I paid only a bit more that it would cost for myself to take the car there with 3 tanks of petrol, eurotunnel ticket and one over night stay en route). If you then take into account insurance hassle and mileage depreciation it is ok.

I have just booked a transportation via shiply.com for a car to go to Belgium.

A friend car dealer suggested i use them. Will see how it goes.

Maverick I'm taking the Vanquish to Monte Carlo in June.
I'm going Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Monte Carlo.
To be honest I'm looking forward to driving it every mile of the way!

thumbup Stayed there a few years back. Make sure you rub the horses knee before you go to the casino, it works. My 5 day trip cost me absolutely zero. I may have even come home in profit wink

What a great idea. Somebody pays you £500 to drive their Aston across Europe. Genius.
