Am in the market for a new AM after three years ownership. I've called the dealer to discuss options and lets just say he's not very helpful or responsive. Who knew it was so hard to buy an AM?
Can anyone recommend a sales person in Wilmslow to ask for and deal with please
Regards

I dealt with Adam. I found him really helpful especially as I just walked in off the street in my overalls. I ended up buying a DB9 which I picked up on good Friday. There is a lady sales manager there too who I found to be really helpful but I can't remember her name.
I had a slight problem within the car with 2 days of picking it up but there was no messing about, they took it back in with no quibbles and I get it back tomorrow complete with new secondary cats.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Out of interest was the problem not changing up out of first gear when in auto?I had a slight problem within the car with 2 days of picking it up but there was no messing about, they took it back in with no quibbles and I get it back tomorrow complete with new secondary cats.

No mate. Strong smell of hydrogen sulphide under moderate to heavy acceleration. They asked me to run it for a week in case it cleared but I knew what was causing it. Duff exhaust flange gasket causing entrained air to enter the zorst overheating the cats. All sorted now.Gary Fisher is the sales mgr - I dealt with him and Adam - both nice enough although I had issues with the sale / invoice mismatch and then tried to be charged twice for tracker subscription. Fairly agreeable to put things right but shouldn't really have been wrong to start with.
Adam is ex Audi and I felt a few of those tricks came with him (eg very reluctant to even discuss not having paint protection)
Parking is terrible there as you probably know.
I'd not not use them again but they wouldn't get my undisputed loyalty either.
And that reminds me.. 5 months later and I've still not had anything regarding my inclusive servicing or trip to Gaydon they promised me

Parking won't be a problem when they move to their new servicing & showroom combo site at the back of Tesco Handforth Dean in the not too distant.
I dealt with Sam on my DB9. No problems and got me the car I wanted quite quickly. Always looked after by Matt at the service centre, even when dropping in unannounced. I'd buy another AM from them, if I was that way inclined (sorry to say so but the Bentley I have now is simply superb).
But then again I live in Wilmslow so can (currently) walk round to the showroom!

Reasonable place, no parking. Sales team have suffered from a higher than average churn. Sam was ok - no technical knowledge, but yet to find a sales person from any brand who does. Count your fingers and toes when leaving servicing - a bit too sharp for my liking. If you don't get any customised agreed deal terms in writing AND on the invoice (eg Millbrook full day £0), good luck getting that. Any email is not good enough as they will hide behind the Pendragon email footer that says nothing can be agreed or is enforceable by an email unless from a Companies Act director, which no one at any show room is.

Looks like you're going to end up with a list of everyone's favourite salesperson from anywhere in the UK. Jonby gets the cigar for answering the question
They must make a mean cup of coffee then.
Sam comes highly recommended by many but whilst I know her, I haven't actually bought a car from her
Martin has been there a long time and is great to deal with
As someone else mentioned, Mathew (Percival) in service is absolute top notch - very attentive and helpful

Call H.R.Owen in Cheltenham. Ask to speak to Rachel in sales her knowledge and expertise is superb.
Agree, Rachel was superb when I was looking for my V12
I did end up elsewhere but nothing to do with them..... just a car more in my spec.I'll not be a returning customer to first choice tbh
