Hello All:

I did a search and couldn't find anything on it so if I missed it, please accept my apologies. I am looking for instruction on how to run a wire from the console in a '07 DB9 Volante to the top of the windscreen. My thought is to remove the ski slope and run it through the bottom of the console and up behind the radio tuner. Then run it behind the glove box and up the dash to the base of the windscreen pillar, up the pillar behind the trim and along the top of the windscreen. My question is how to remove the trim covering the pillar? Is it a simple pry-off or are there screws? Any other concerns along my route?

Thanks in advance for any help.

The pillar is a single piece that runs along the roof over the window. On my 2004 car there is a screw attachment to the door rubber and the rest is just push fits. You don't have to remove it all to get a wire behind it.

I use pry tools such as this

It turned out to be very easy. But as mine is a Volante, there was a torx screw on the top of the windscreen frame that had to be removed as well. Now to wire up the power! Zaaappp
