Wheel Refurb Question
Discussion
I am hoping someone can assist me in making a decision.
Couple of weeks ago I dinged one of my alloys, there was muttered swearing and much annoyance, its not really too bad but I know its there so cannot live with it.
The car has 19" alloys which were I presume originally diamond turned but have since been painted, I imagine due to the fact that diamond turned finished are not particularly hard wearing. (photo below)
So I looked at having just the one wheel filled and touched up but it looks like matching the colour is an issue, and a wheel that doesn't match could be even worse, so I have decided to get all four refurbished, The other three wheels are pretty good, but prior to me getting the car they have obviously had a face only refurb as brake dust is collecting on the paint line at the back of the spokes. So I believe a proper chemical strip and powder coat/paint is the way forward.
We have a well thought of place nearby The Blast Shop, Thursby, I have spoken to them and booked them in. The question that was posed was around colour. They are currently silver, and were supplied new silver, and I am leaning towards silver, however the chap at the blast shop thinks they would look fantastic in shadow chrome on a silver car.
Has anyone had this done with the same wheels? Did they look good, should I keep them original looking??? Any thoughts would be greatly welcomed.

Shadow chrome
It doesn't actually look chrome it is a BMW finish from a while back
I had it done on some Volks a while back works well on spoked wheels as it high lights them
I'm going to do it slightly darker on my current SP2 wheels

Plus Two new rear tyres which I knew were required plus two fronts which I realised were past their best in terms of age once the wheels were off the car.
Went for Michelin Super Sports.
Anyway here is the piccy of the wheels finished in Shadow Chrome by the Blast Shop at Thursby, Cumbria
