My Db9 at my sons wedding
Discussion
My son was married on Saturday and I gave him my DB9 to drive to the church with his best man then drive off with his new wife. I had the car looking great as best as a farmer can ! ! We came out of the church to find the car with sticky white spray "Just married "all over the rear screen , a banner jammed under the boot lid with balloons tied to it, strong duck tape sticking 2 x L plates to the rear of the car and more tape holding string that was attached to tin cans .My son was notified by the friend who did it that there was cans tied to the car so to play along with the joke he drove slowly forward 20 yards before the best man cut them off !
Opinions please ! !

You guys crack me up !
So a farmer, (whatever that is), out of the goodness of his heart , lends his Aston to his son to drive to his wedding.
So far so good .
Then some dopey old geezer, who should no better, sets about vandalising the Aston.
I'd slap him, then send the prat the bill from Paddy, our default detailer of choice.
Or better still have him euthanised.

It'll clean up... you leant it to your son to get married in, a bit of a clean is a small price to pay compared to some experiences on here
Mr Farmer may not be aware of our misfortune so I suppose we will have to mention the dreaded subject again.
Our son-in-law-to-be asked if he could use our Aston to take his bride from the wedding venue to the reception. Maybe we should have said no but that would have seemed mean. So he drove it a few times with Rob to get some experience and, fortunately, we got the insurance to cover him.
He wrote if off. They were both ok and everyone lived happily ever after. It's their 1st anniversary tomorrow.
Get the car cleaned up, try to forget the cost but do count your blessings.

Then kick the s
t out of the best man
I do remember that incident Molly very well !! Really felt for you.It was not the best man Michael but the guy who offered to drive the bridesmaids to the church then to the hotel in his Range Rover. He did threaten to do it but was told in no uncertain manner not to interfere with the DB9.
It was me who persuaded my son to take the car as I thought it would be really nice for them to drive away in it .

Oh well, I am sure it was done with the best of intentions.
