This may have been asked before, but could not find a solution, so thought I would ask again.

I need to put my DB9 on Stands to get all four wheels off for a refurb. Where can I jack from to get the stands under the jacking points?

Only solution I could see is one of these,http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=181249656234&alt=web

But not sure I will be able to get the Jack under it given Height of the car.

Any advice appreciated.

I use a couple of pieces of wood, drive front wheels (for instance) onto it, this allows me to get a jack under the car. I've never used axle stands however.

You need a low profile jack (if you do not want to use the plank of wood method) - there are many available but I bought a cheap ebay jack that has served me well with no problems - Liftmaster low profile £39.90

Some photos were posted a few years back on this forum regarding axle stand positions on a V8V

Cheers for help, I am thinking Jack up slip something under each wheel to raise the car, allowing space to remove the frontundertray, then I can Jack off the crossmember to get the axles stands under the jacking points. Can anyone see a flaw inn my plan

I was thinking more along the lines of his poor choice of words: "…then I can jack off …" hehe

Laziness confession

When I had a vehicle needed a 4 wheel re-furb I left it with the dealer to do after a service, it may have cost a little more but was done to a high standard, they do it all the time so had the jacks, colour was spot on and had 0 hassle factor.

Apologies if grammar offended you, using piston heads mobile app, where the keyboard covers the text entry, so you cannot see what you are typing. It's very poor to say the least, but I was asking for advice on Jacking not English
