Does anyone know what the extra button is in this DB9?

Blue one is a 2006 and the cream one is a 2005...

It can potentially be lots of things, depending on the options fitted to particular cars. Some have 2 buttons, some 3, some 4.

For example, lots of cars have a button to disable the passenger airbag (in case a childseat is fitted). However, my car has a fully adjustable passenger seat which means that it doesn't have isofix fittings. Therefore, my car doesn't have a button to disable the passenger airbag.

Rear sensor mute is another option (I don't think that all of the early cars had rear sensors fitted). Heated front and rear screens are two of the other popular buttons.

Heated front screen button is the extra one on my car compared to cars with 3 buttons as this was an optional extra.

^^^This. But I suspect mine is pretty 'standard'...

Yup the guys are right it's likely to be a heated front screen, nice photo above, this was an optional extra up until the 08MY when it was removed from the options list. Not a must have option IMO, but can occasionally be useful. The standard buttons were rear parking, rear heated screen, sport. by the way I can see that neither car has Memory Seats fitted!

Shouldn't have should they? My 06 has no memory and single stage heating only.

Hiya Lewis, I hope you are good? Yes you are on the ball as usual, 3-position memory (and dual stage seat heating) came in for the 2007MY, so it was only an observation as the OP was looking at a 2006 car and 07MY came in late 06!

How's your beast, any temptation to change?

If that's the case I would get rid of it....no memory seats , single stage heating....that's dropped the value by 5 k....Tosser
