Sold my V12V today. It went to JCT600 for a very fair price...
I would like to add that JCT made it a very painless experience. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to sell.
So good bye from me, I loved my aston experience and hope to be back again one day.
Richard.
All 3 of the initial SPA 3 have sold their V12V's I would like to add that JCT made it a very painless experience. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to sell.

Sorry to see you go Rich, I am on the lookout this winter to re-join the fold.

Not sure what's next... Going to be riding my new motorbike this summer. Will think about cars again next year.
I'll never forget our Spa experience ( can I say that?) ha ha... Did I say it was Epic!! Well it was

Hey jockers.. I dealt with Mark Hill... Actually it was reading one of your posts that gave me the idea to call them
Mark is the Head of Business at JC600 Aston Martin and has always been a top notch chap in my eyes - I can't praise him and his whole team enough. When Mark is involved you know the deal is on the right side of where you need it to be
Richard - were you not tempted with the rather lovely fully loaded Yellow Tang V12VS ex-works car that they have in stock at the moment?

Hi Adam, Yes Mark was great. Deal was done in about 20 mins of me sending an enquiry in from the web site.

Unlike the other dealer I was in contact with who I was chasing for three weeks...

That car looks stunning , right up my street but too rich for me at the moment.

The trade in of a V12V for a V12S is not economically viable in my view. It is a shame as it would have "released" a couple of V12Vs to new customers and offloaded a couple of the V12S from the dealers inventory. Now Aston dealers sit back with a number of V12S that are not shifting and residuals for the whole model range will just go further down. A missed opportunity. It is always easier to get an existing customer to buy a more expensive product rather than finding a new one. With the trade-in values that they offer this make it impossible - only to be discounting the cars at a later stage.

Agreed - I have heard of some horrendous 'cost to change' quotes from members of this forum.I would extend your argument one step further and say that in providing a sensible upscale cost, it would also have released a moderate amount of V12Vs onto the market with no detriment to residuals.
I would suggest it would be easier to attract new customers with a gorgeous £90k car than an equally gorgeous £150k car.

Saw your car today in JCT's showroom looking rather mint and ready for a new owner!
Hope you re-join the fold soon!
Adam
Hi Adam, made the mistake of looking on their website... Can't believe what they've got it up for... Looks like I should have held out for more lol. Hope you re-join the fold soon!
Adam
I did my research and there was nothing on at that price. What I may have failed to do was factor in that my car is / was as you say MINT.
Another lesson learned...

One would assume no more than 10k above I did my research and there was nothing on at that price. What I may have failed to do was factor in that my car is / was as you say MINT.
