My 59 plate DBS has developed a fair bit of corrosion (even though it's pampered). Plus the left hand rear light has filled with water. I know you'll all say this is usual but it seems a bit sh*t considering - even worse is that AML have ignored my Twitter post and email to customer services. Thought I'd share this and see if I'm on my own...

Can't make out where on the car that is from the poor photo.
What does your dealer say?

Not sure what a twitter post is supposed to do other than make them want to ignore you even more.

On a 59 plate I suspect you don't have a warranty so are relying on good will. Therefore going through your dealer to whom you have been a good loyal customer for the past n years would seem a much better option than posting on some lame teenage social media site. Just my opinion of course but old fashioned customer service has a price I'm afraid.

These days that's often not the case, the fastest way to get something solved can, in some cases, be through social media. Due to the public nature of the request or complaint the company will want to project a positive image by solving the problem quickly.

JCT600 put on 2 new wing mirrors on the DB9, due to the known corrosion issue.

They did it out of warranty.

They did it free of charge.

I used them for servicing and had a good relationship with the team there so they fought my corner with Aston. smile

Thanks All. AML CS just called and were very helpful. Will take my car to Works as I'm in Northamptonshire a fair bit and they will prepare a quote to be submitted to HO.
We'll see what happens...

Jimbob - that photo is truly unrecognisable. Have you got any more?

Where are you getting rust? Do you mean aluminium corrosion?
