as mentioned due to a £500 price difference I took the dbs to leeds for its service,it was serviced lasttime in wilmslow and when it was in I asked about the squeaky brakes ,'well basically you need new pads ,which will be £2000 ' ,with my pads having virtually no wear I was not tempted .Anyway took it in to leeds and asked if they could do anything,'we will check them and let you know' ,I then get a call,'they need cleaning ,it will be £90' I say ok its worth a go.
Picked up car,no squeak .I dont know if it this is temporary solution, but I know where all my future servicing needs will be going.

thought so,but its worth a try for £90,especially after reading about those who replaced the pads with no improvement.

Saw a re run of TG with May in the N24 Vantage.
The brake squeal in the footage just like mine was when I was in Italy.
Just a milder squeal when im tootling around.
Learnt to accept this on this very cheap car banghead
