What are your thoughts on the matte chrome wrap on this Vanquish Volante? I quite like it.

I quite like that too, however a darker interior would complement the exterior better.

I kind of agree, but I think the light interior looks classier on the Volante and I suspect it probably is quite a stunner in person. In a coupe, a darker would definitely be better.

I think that looks stunning, it certainly shows off the beautiful curves of the Vanquish.

I also think a darker or possibly dark red interior would suit it better.

I agree it looks stunning. Reminds me of lightning silver or titanium and a red interior would finish it off very nicely

On a practical level I wonder what it is like to clean?

Possibly the best coloured wrap I've seen...... Really like that.. A brave choice in the 1st instance that has turned out well.

I keep seeing chrome wrapped cars about and hate them... This is different....

I don't like matte finishes on cars.

The colour itself is nice, if they lacquered over the top of it I'd like it.

Almost identical to what I was about to post - I'm not a fan of wraps in general apart from perhaps a bit of fun with a temporary OTT design for something like LM24 and I particularly dislike chrome (way too flashy for my personal taste) & matt (IMO passé, great when original on angular cars like Reventon, but too late & wannabee when done now)

So what a surprise to me that despite REALLY not wanting to, I quite like the look of the car in the OP

If the owner likes it then why not but better to spray it in that colour and finish with a semi-matt lacquer, shows belief in the colour scheme. Wraps are rather like wanting to be daring but having no commitment to the cause!

I guess it may suit a Lamborghini or Nissan GT but to use it on an Aston Martin is rather like teaming a Savile Row suit with Gucci trainers.

Very well put.
Not a great fan of wraps, however if the owner fancies a change, why not.

That looks very nice. I'd love to see that wrap on an Aventador Roadster though. yum

I like how it looks in that photo... but I really wouldn't want to look after it, and when you see a knackered 6 year old corsa with a big exhaust in the same finish, you'd regret it :-)

Lexus has a color very similar to Mako Blue and it doesn't seem to bother many here. wink
