Was stopped today at a junction by the chap in the car behind me who informed me my brake lights weren't working (and that he'd nearly crashed into the back of me!). The other lights work fine in both clusters, so am presuming it's an issue with the brake light switch?

I did previously have a problem which Silverspeed thought was an issue with the switch causing the brake lights to stay on, although that problem seemed to go away. Could a fault on the switch change from causing the brake lights to stay on to causing them not to illuminate at all?

As usual, any advice gratefully received!

Is both side brake lights not work or just one? Does the high level brake light work when you put on the brakes? If it doesn't then its likely to be the switch and not LED units. Cheaper this than replacing the rear lights clusters.

Thanks for your reply. Both sides don't work (I don't seem to have a high level light) which suggests to me the switch.

The switch is cheap and easily replaced. Remove it and test it on the bench with a battery and bulb first. Also check your fuses.

Was just a fuse....

But needs drivers window rubber seal replacing now.....

Also, the lack of MW on the radio has still to be resolved. The dealer is suggesting that the radios can't pick up MW in Guernsey as he has 4 other Aston's in the workshop or forecourt and none of them pick up MW. I'm not sure that sounds very credible?
