Francorchamps Track Day Sept 15/16th
Discussion
This is a thread to see if anyone attending the AML On-Track days at Spa on 15 & 16th September would like to hook up for a cross-country drive from Eurotunnel to Spa on Sunday 14th?
Also, anyone have experience of some nice scenic roads heading that way? On the route-planning excessive currently...

PM sent with route
If you need it as an ITN for an older style TomTom, then use a program called TYRE.
Thanks both. John, brilliant thanks for the route!

Tyre Software is great, Speculator introduced me to this - I am using it for multi-route planning on my Alpine Tour 15th July.

I'm going for one of these days (can't remember which now!) but as I'm travelling from up North I'm taking the overnight ferry from Hull (classy
Excellent, another PH member going!!
I looked, your coming into Rotterdam on the Sunday morning correct? We get to Calais around 2pm. It would be about 2.5hrs to join up with us, maybe you might consider this - a fun drive with some am's in the picturesque French/Belgium countryside! If you are interested I will pm you the draft route?

Yes if you pm me the draft route I can take a look an see if meeting up en-route is viable - it is the Monday I'm booked for so yes I'll be arriving Sunday morning.I looked, your coming into Rotterdam on the Sunday morning correct? Flying in from the South of France......this is always a good way to wind up the Summer before heading back to Vancouver. Think I'm alternating between a Vanquish and a V12VS on the track. Looking forward to it.
Sadly won't meet up with you this year Terry. Perhaps next year

I will look forward to that as I don't intend to stop visiting Spa with AM as long as I can still press pedals and pull paddles In the right order and at the right time, now that AM no longer features manual drive cars at these events. I just love this circuit. The day just gives you an incredible feeling of what your car can do given the opportunity (in my case a manual V12V).
Get another one, John!!!
Premium Downpipes are being fitted at BR next Monday, then Rolling Road Test on TeaSpn to see how many horses she rides with...
Pirelli Trofeo R tyres are fitted on my spare lightweight V12V wheels, delivering to Gaydon next Tuesday for AM to take in the tracks to Belgium
oh what an excited boy I am
