In about 10 days, after complete service, custom overmats, reglued door card 'bubble', and a few other minor things.

Congrats, Steve. I was wondering what you were on about when asking about the paddle shift the other day.

But what about this:

Would I like a Vanquish? Sure, but not if it meant getting rid of DBS. The biggest problem (for me) with the Vanquish is the clumsy styling of the rear wheel arches with the discordant vertical 'break' at the rear of the door. It destroys the lines of the car. Frankly, it looks like there were two different designers, one for the front and one for the rear, and never the twain did meet. And the other big issue is the dated interior...too much of a mosh mash. It is DB7 or DB9 for me...
Did you keep the DBS? And are we to assume then that you were able to overcome your interior/exterior design reservations? smile

I think the interior of the Vanquish (2001-2005) has changed from "old-fashionned" to "classic", love that !

You made the right choice Steve wink

Very nice. The best sounding Aston. And the best looking IMHO.

Yes. To my big surprise it is better sounding than the DBS (but the DBS is no slouch in that regard, just not as fulsome).

Yes and yes. I think it was the color, in and out, that completely (well almost) changed my mind. I still have reservations about the vertical in the door, but I am going to overlook that for the time being. I figure if I stare at it long enough I'll grow to like it..
