I have an 06 DB9 with 05 sat nav discs .
Never used the sat nav but decided I might try it.
I would like to know what the latest updates are,how much and best place to buy them.
Normally never use a sat nav,bit of a Luddite I'm afraid, but I do occasionally use my IPad which is ok but obviously difficult to place in a viewable position.
Comments on this forum say it's a pita,is it really that bad ?

Yes there are updated discs available - expensive authorised ones or cheaper copies from a site that cannot be named or this thread gets pulled

Can't you just sellotape your ipad to the steering wheel

Err, toggle down to Shutdown

You obviously have it activated (perhaps inadvertently) to come on with ignition. Before shutting down, please ensure you don't have a route planned otherwise - like Bincenzo - you'll start to hear strange beeps from time to time, and wonder where they're coming from

Thanks. I've had the car about 2 months and it's always just popped up when starting the ignition, closing when turning off. I've got zero use for Sat Nav in Guernsey, so not really had proper a look at it.
I quite liked that setting, as well as the powerfold mirrors opening up on ignition too

Yep got that setting on too.
Still trying to find the setting to get double digit MPG though. Must be hidden somewhere....
Sod off Jersey Boy.

Rare time I post a sensible topic and you hijack it.
Are you and Jockers having a lovefest ?
Just wear your bloomin shades, job done.

(Although seeing as you confused Guernsey with Jersey, maybe it's not such a good idea)
Managing to get in the same continent was pretty good for him, !

Unless he was using his Sat Nav with an old disc....

I thought Jersey Boy sounded better,Guernsey Boy sounds like a breed of bovine.
Anyway both places are outside my normal terms of reference i.e. Monaco,St.Tropez,Barbados .
I believe comprehensive school children visit those English Islands on school trips.

A certain Cockernee geezer is heading there in his boat in the next day or so. Hopefully they make sure all doors and windows are locked and valuables safety away I thought Jersey Boy sounded better,Guernsey Boy sounds like a breed of bovine.
