Exhaust Noise

I was doing my best to keep up with a V8VS on a vigorous hoon Sunday.
What I did notice was his exhaust it seems louder than mine and both cars std. Mines a DBS.
Is it me?

I think it's easy to take your own car for granted - get it in a tunnel, windows down and remind yourself that she sounds just fine.

V8VS has a Sports Exhaust as standard so it depends what you mean by standard in this context but I agree with the last post I am sure yours sounds just fine!

Yes that's what the driver said. So like I say std on the V8 VS not a aftermarket jobbie.

Had the pleasure of being in the middle of a trio of cars driving through a stone walled village. A V12 Vantage in front and a DBS behind. What a cacophony of sound

Tried it once, but the 12 drowned out the 8, so was a bit pointless, really.

Bad move :-) can't say you hadn't been warned.
There's multiple posts on here from people who have done the same then ended up with one on the drive.
