A thought came to me today......

Some of you know i work in Afghanistan from previous posts and having been out here since May 17th and wont return until Oct back home i tend to miss the Vantage i bought 3 weeks before leaving in May. So for 3 weeks i was driving something that i have to admit wasnt one of those "ill have one of those when i have the money" because i thought it was so far away from being able to do it!
But sat here in Kabul with one of the heaviest rain storms hitting the ISO roof (all mod cons here!) i look at my screen saver which is of my car outside the house thinking "i cant believe i own this!".

I think most of us on here appreciate your comments.
It's always gives one a warm feeling inside to know that even on a bad day one has the Aston in the garage to drive.
It's a bit like coming home to your faithful dog/wife/Ladyboy.

I think you mean "i can't believe i own this!".
Which is exactly how I feel when I've had a cluster fk of a week and the garage door slides up.

Yes i was apprenhensive a little when i put the deposit down but once i saw it in the flesh when i picked it up then i was won over. I get a lot comments from people saying "nice to see one different from grey and silver"!
