Thoughts on the above?

07 Vanquish S or 04 575 Fiorano - which one should I buy?

In terms of reliability and depreciation ?
Say 4000 miles a year

Depreciation? Reliability? What on earth made you think those words could go in the same sentence as "Vanquish"!

Only asking!!!

I had Ferraris before and they were all good to me. I'm after a reliable car, which will be used almost daily, hence my question.

The S is a better Vanquish, it should in theory be a better car.

As for depreciation, it's as curiosity : do people actually see them as the last if a breed? The whole man made type...or are they simply like DB9/DBS, a more mass product Aston?

I was under the impression that the S actually APPRECIATES, unlike the Gaydon DDs which all invariably depreciate smile

you can follow the trend and the history, the vanquish is the last of the newport pagnell ally cars and has a great place in history and an instant modern classic as the price of them shows increasing all the time and rapid.
but
they are not an every day car like the DB9 is. totally different.
you will pay top dollar for a good late vanquish and then you need to keep the miles down if you want to retain value.
it isnt a daily

I've owned the Vanquish S on the top gear comparison test with the 575.
the video says it all.
575 is probably the better more reliable car so your head will choose it
but your heart says i should have bought the Aston
it will be a pain to drive slowly uphill, has a weird upshift and not cheap to maintain but
as a driving experience on a sunday morning its primes inter pares

Well....I'm not one to gossip as you well know...but...since he told the entire Dog & Duck last week....

It involved him getting put on the wrong part of the ferry and his handbrake coming off in his hand whistle
