Decided I have got to have a used Vantage V8 around £50k what is the cheapest way to finance? Was thinking 2 years, 10k a year. Pcp, Lease, pch? £5k deposit max. Don't want to pay more than £700 ish a month, is that possible? Surely depreciating is low on a 10 plate? Would really welcome your guidance to make a dream come true!

with £5k deposit you are going to need a PCP or borrow against your mortgage ....low rate personal loans usually top out at £25-30K

Talk to some dealers but I think you will struggle on a £50k car. For £5k you'll be paying £950 plus each month with a balloon after 3 years. Get some quotes and shop around, a lot will depend on your status but I don't think all your numbers will add up I'm afraid. Not too far away though if you choose an older car.

Good luck, it's worth it

yeah, for £700 a month you may be looking at a £35K Vantage ..which isnt a bad thing, it will lose less

Buy cheaper. Your deposit is very low. You're also at high risk of negative equity when balloon time comes if you get a deal that appears affordable. Better still buy something cash outright.

Great thing about the Vantage is that a 2006 model really isn't that differnet to a 2010 model on looks. Yes the 4.7 has more go but an Aston is about more than performance so you'll get just as much enjoyment from an earlier, low cost model and as bogie says you'll lose very little in depreciation.

I think the early seats date them. My only requirement when I went for a V8V was that it was a 2007 model for that reason.

Its funny, when i bought mine I thought the same, until i tried both and actually found the old seat more comfortable.

Get a First Direct Offset Mortgage @2.79% over 3 years. Borrow £45K more than your existing mortgage (if you have enough equity) and buy the car cash.

Once you sell the car, pay back into the mortgage account. Simples.

Easier way....go on tour to Afghanistan, save some money then buy a Porsche 911 C4S....leave the Army then go as a civvy to Afghanistan and earn pop-star wages for 6 months, sell the 911 and go to AM Works and buy a 4.7 Vantage cash.....simples!!!!

Not that I can see. People don't seem to understand cash = finance.
Other cheapest finance I've been offered is LIBOR +0.75%
