Picked up my new to me 4.7 on Tuesday loving it so far but sadly back in the garage yesterday.
Brake fluid leaking from front nearside caliper nicely melting all the paint off the wheel.
Never mind it was due back on Monday to have bubbling paint on the doors rectified.
Guess both of these were missed on the 140 point check.

frown

Get them to check the other 3 calipers
My first roadster has similar issues on two calipers due to over use of wheel cleaner by the previous owner

What colour is it? Make sure they do a good colour match. Which dealer are you using?

Its Tungsten and bought from Stratstone in Cardiff although sourced within the group from London.

Ah ok, shouldn't be too hard for them to match. I only ask, as some dealers don't seem to use very good bodyshops. I've seen too many poor jobs.

Not had any dealings with cars from Cardiff. Hopefully, everything will be fine for you.

Lotus owned for 25 years (including 3 as daily driver) and 80,000 miles.
It has Never let me down and I had more issues with Vanquish (bought from main dealer and looked after by works)in 3 years ownership
Enjoyed owning Vanquish and new owner has bought a great car.I still love Astons but let's be realistic the build quality is not what it should be given the price.

As with all cars there are good ones and bad, Lotus didn't end up with the Lots Of Trouble Usually Serious for no reason I'm sure but by the same measure I had TVRs for 20 plus years and all that time I was left at the side of the road twice.

They did some good work for me on a Meteorite car - a local body shop - also repainted my callipers and did a cracking job with that. Good luck.
